• Your situation will determine how and when you can find a tribe and they include:
  
• If you call between August and September the Y Staff can provide you with a list of tribes that are in your area, and it is up to you to call these tribes to see if there is room for a new pair
  
• You can use the Trailseekers website tool at any point during the program year to post your information or find current tribes looking for new members

The easiest way to find a tribe to join is to ask an existing tribe in which you know some or all of the members

Step 3 - Call The Office

• If you call between August and September we can provide a list of potential tribes in your zip code area—We will not provide any tribal information after September 30
• If you call at other times during the year, you can use the Trailseekers website tool at www.arapahoe-nation.org/trailseekers.htm, or wait until the following fall season to start the program
• If you already know of a tribe in your area, you are welcome to ask their permission directly to join
• The staff cannot force anyone into an existing tribe, it is up to the tribe to accept new members
• The staff cannot guarantee that you will find a tribe
• The staff will need to know what grade your child is in school, what is your child’s gender, your email address, and your home zip code
• When you call, we will give you all of the options for joining the program

• Once you have been accepted into a new tribe, print the registration form can be found on the website
